Born and raised in Northern Ontario, A.E. Rochon spent a lifetime immersed in design, accessibility, and the details that make spaces, and stories, livable. After surviving a stroke in 2016 and retiring in 2025, Rochon turned to writing as a creative second act. A way to stay engaged, curious, and connected.

Beyond the Ice Shelf © is their first novel, blending speculative science with emotional depth to explore what it means to listen to the past, and survive the future.
