1. Services Provided
Accessible Places Inc. provides accessibility assessments, consultations, and recommendations to improve the accessibility of residential and commercial spaces. The scope of each service will be clearly outlined to clients prior to engagement.
2. Payment Terms
- Payment for all services must be made in full before the service is rendered.
- Accepted payment methods include debit and credit cards via Stripe.
- Specific service fees, including walk-through assessments, are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the service agreement.
3. Rescheduling and Cancellations
- Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule appointments up to 12 hours before the scheduled time without penalty.
- Cancellations:
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the appointment will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will incur a 50% charge of the service fee.
4. Liability Disclaimer
Accessible Places Inc. provides recommendations and assessments for informational purposes only. Implementation of recommendations is the sole responsibility of the client. Accessible Places Inc. is not liable for any outcomes resulting from actions taken based on our assessments or consultations.
5. Geographic Limitations
Services are currently offered within Vancouver City and its immediate surrounding areas. Clients outside this region may not be eligible for services unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. Conditions for Service Denial
Accessible Places Inc. reserves the right to decline or terminate services under the following conditions:
- Unsafe or hazardous property conditions, including but not limited to loose or unfenced animals, excessive clutter, or structural dangers.
- Non-compliance with the terms outlined in this agreement.
- If services are declined or terminated for these reasons, applicable fees will not be refunded.
7. Fee Application and Credits
At the discretion of Accessible Places Inc., fees for certain preliminary services (e.g., walk-through assessments) may be credited toward the cost of a comprehensive consultation or other services.
8. Data Privacy
All client data collected during the course of providing services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with applicable data protection laws, including PIPEDA.
9. Changes to Terms
Accessible Places Inc. reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to future transactions and services.
